Learning outcomes

The course aims initially to introduce the student to the field of tourism and in particular its historical development, its characteristics, its importance, but also its main forms.

In addition to the meaning and content of tourism, the student should understand the specific characteristics of the tourist consumer, his needs, and motivations.

Then the student will get to know the range of tourist services that includes the tourist product as well as the tourist enterprises, which offer the corresponding services or goods.

In particular, to learn how to organize and manage the main tourism enterprises in the fields of hospitality, travel organization, transport and catering.
