Welcome to the website of the Department of Business Administration. Our Department was founded in 2019 and offers high-level education at (a) undergraduate level through a modern undergraduate study program with two thematic axes, (b) postgraduate level through three postgraduate study programs, (c) doctoral studies and (d) postdoctoral research.
The Department has established itself in its area, which is evidenced by the steady and growing interest of new students who make it their first choice and who improve their admissions performance. In addition, with the steadily increasing interest of new graduate students, as well as PhD candidates. It is distinguished from similar Departments in Greece and its curriculum is aligned with the most well-known similar departments abroad. In addition, it offers clear professional rights to its graduates.
The Department contributes significantly to field research and participates in a wide range of projects funded by the European Commission, but also by National and Regional Resources. The Department is housed in modern buildings on the Gaiopolis Campus in Larissa with adequate auditoriums and classrooms, as well as fully equipped laboratories. The educational staff of the Department includes 15 faculty members, 2 EDIP members and 3 ETEP members with many years of educational and research experience and collaborations with Universities and Research Institutes both in Greece, but also significantly abroad, promoting the extroversion and international character of the University of Thessaly.

The curriculum of the Department of Business Administration adapts to the challenges of the times, and provides challenges for both students and Academic staff.
The Department of Business Administration of the University of Thessaly is one of the largest university departments in the country, with more than 300 admitted students per year.
In the framework of Extroversion, the Department of Business Administration has entered into Memorandums of Cooperation with companies, but collaborates at the research level with Universities throughout the world. It is one of the most active Greek University Departments!
The Department of Business Administration and the Graduate Programs "Flexible Management Methods", "Business Administration (MBA)" and "Entrepreneurship" of the University of Thessaly organize an Evening - Lecture, on the subject:
"The Coordination of the Government Project - Digital Governance and Artificial Intelligence"
with keynote speaker General Secretary for Coordination at the Presidency of the Government, Dr. Evi Dramaliotis.
The conference will present contemporary management issues related to the research of the doctoral candidates and is an effort of the Business Administration department of the University of Thessaly to be more outgoing. At the conference, mature papers will be presented, which concern Administrative science as a whole.
