Dr. N. Kakkos is Associate Professor of Marketing at the University of Thessaly. He was the Dean of the School of Administration and Economics and since 2010, a faculty member of the Business Administration Department of the TEI of Thessaly. He holds a PhD in International Marketing from the School of Business Administration of the University of Loughborough (UK), in which he received a Scholarship, supervised by ProfessorDDr. A. Diamantopoulos. He worked in the private sector in the food industry, has administrative experience in Higher Education, participation in the coordination of doctoral and postgraduate programs, as well as many years of educational experience in undergraduate and postgraduate programs (independently and/or in collaboration with Universities in England). His scientific-authored work focuses in general on the field of Marketing and in particular on International Marketing. He appears in various International Conferences and Journals and receives international distinction and recognition as evidenced by their (jointly co-author DDr. A. Diamantopoulos) honorary award for their scientific work in ExportPerformance, from the American Marketing Association with the 2013 Hans B. Thorelli Award, but also from hundreds of references in the relevant international literature.
