Dr. Achilleas Anagnostopoulos is a Faculty Teaching Fellow at the Department of Business Administration, University of Thessaly, Greece. He holds a PhD in Human Resource Management and Labour Management Relations from the University of Birmingham, UK.

He teaches undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Human Resource Management and Skills Development, applying student-focused methods such as experiential learning, project-based activities, and strategic tools.

His research focuses on how HR practices and skills development strategies enhance meta-skills and employability in the evolving world of work. In his later work, he was engaged in applied research and policy projects, including serving as National Expert for Greece in the EGF programme by DG Employment, European Commission, and as Scientific Coordinator in projects funded by the Greek Federation of Enterprises and the Stavros Niarchos Foundation.

He designs and implements Erasmus+ Blended Intensive Programmes (BIPs), creating learning experiences that strengthen international collaboration and soft skill-building. As academic coordinator of the Erasmus+ BIP pHRonesis, he supports students in developing key transversal competences - such as teamwork, design thinking and problem-solving - while also fostering a growth mindset through engagement with real company cases.

He is also the founder of the Business Case Study Club at the Department of Business Administration, University of Thessaly - a project-based learning environment where participants tackle real business challenges to enhance their strategic thinking and prepare for the workplace.
